Battery Specifications
The Solterra will launch with a 72.8kWh lithium-ion battery that allows it to have a range of up to 360 km. For power, Subaru has equipped the Solterra with two 80kW electric motors, one on the front and one on the rear axle.
A CCS1 combo charger will enable level one and level two AC charging, with an added 100kW DC for fast charging. The DC charging is capable of providing the Solterra with an 80 percent charge in just 50 minutes.
Features
The 2023 Subaru Solterra will have several modern features on offer as standard. One is the Subaru Solterra Connect, which keeps drivers informed about their vehicle's status. Connect is split into four different categories for ease of access -- safety, remote, service, and drive. Let’s take a closer look at each one.
Safety Connect (trial three-year subscription) provides enhanced roadside assistance, advanced automatic collision notifications, an emergency SOS service, and more.
Remote Connect (trial three-year subscription) enables the driver to control the horns, door locks, climate control, and more with a handy scheduling feature.
Service Connect (trial five-year subscription) shows maintenance alerts, receives vehicle health reports, and allows you to schedule service appointments.
Drive Connect provides remote destinations, cloud-based navigation, and an assistant when available subscriptions are activated.
Along with these items, Eyesight Driver Assist is available. This will include several safety features, including rear cross-traffic alerts, an emergency driving stop system, and more.
